A healthy balance of emotion and logic guides me through my decisions. I am not of the opinion that you can live your life with one and without the other. This is why it pains me when I see people like my best friend making decisions without ever having consulted logic first.

Is it really so fucking hard to be practical? Is making an intelligent, informed, thought-out decision such a difficult undertaking that people would rather throw caution and reason to the wind rather than exert the effort?
